During the 4.5 special program hoyoverse announced a new New Banner System Called Chronicled Wish. Which will be implemented in version 4.5! This article will discuss the new banner and how it will work.

New Banner System Chronicled Wish

It is a new type of banner that allows players to wish for specific rerun characters and weapons. You can obtain random 5-star or 4-star items from this banner. It will also include limited characters and weapons. Interwined Fate is required to wish on the Chronicled Banner.

It is recommended to choose your chronicled path from the list of 5-star items before wishing. If the selected item is a character, The 5-star items you will obtain in the banner will be character only, whereas if you choose the weapon in the five-star items list you will only receive the weapon from the banner.

The maximum pity for guaranteed character and weapon is 90. There is a 50/50 chance to get the selected item(Character or Weapon chosen by the player) and if the player doesn’t get their selected item they will receive 1 Fate Point instead.

Once you receive one fate point the next 5 stars will guaranteed to be the character or weapon selected by the player but players have to wish in the same version because the banner will reset along with the fate point if the version ends.
Your pity will be carried to the next version but you will lose your accumulated fate point in the next banner/version.

For example, if you selected Eula but lost 50-50 and got Jean then the player will receive 1 fate point which can be used to guarantee their next desired 5-star item.
Do note that you have to wish again in the same version to get your selected 5-star item because when the version changes your fate point will reset to zero.

Is New Banner System Chronicled Wish good for F2P players?

No, it’s not good for F2P players since it’s not confirmed that you will get the character you selected. So, only wish if you are fine to lose 50/50 on the New Banner System Chronicled Wish.
