Changes in Breeze, Skye gets nerfed and Iso gets buffed in the Valorant Patch 8.01

Valorant patch 8.01 hits the live servers, and it’s packing a punch. From map revamps to agent adjustments, buckle up for a fresh battlefield experience and get ready to push your ranks. Earlier this month when Patch 8.0 came out, we saw some most awaited updates like the new gun Outlaw, Breeze coming back to the competitive queue, and much more. Know everything about Valorant Patch 8.01.

Breeze A site changes:

Remember A Hall on Breeze? That claustrophobic corridor is opening back up, injecting much-needed strategic variety into the map. Defenders get new angles, attackers get a sneaky flank route – prepare for mind games!

Skye’s Guiding Light (E) ability gets nerfed:

Those Guiding Light (E) that terrorized enemies, will no longer be recharged during the round. Also, the flashes will pop automatically at the end of its lifetime. In Patch, the yellow indicator for The Seeker (X) ability was removed. Now, The Seeker (X) ability regains its yellow indicator.

This Nerf coming in Valorant Patch 8.01 will create more tactical opportunities for both teams. This will make Skye more balanced, says Riot.

Iso Packs a Powerful Punch:

Iso’s Double Tap orbs are getting amped up! Expect aggressive pushes and longer shield durations – this enigmatic duelist just got a serious upgrade.

Double Trap (E)

  • Orb duration increased 2s >>> 3s
  • Shield duration increased 15s >>> 20s
  • Shield width reduced 120 >>> 100

Contingency (C)

  • Cost reduced 250 >>> 200

Raze Blast Pack’s (Q) sound would be louder:

Raze uses its Q ability to travel vast spaces on the map and create an entry for the team, often this doesn’t give enough time for the enemy to react. Now whenever Raze uses its Blast Pack (Q), it will make a louder sound making it clearer about Raze’s satchels.

Make better jump throws:

Remember those frisbee-like molly that defied physics? No more! You will now find that jump throws result in consistent landings for your flashbangs, grenades, and Molotovs. Time to unleash your inner projectile champion!

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg!

Valorant Patch 8.01 brings a host of other changes, from weapon tweaks to performance improvements. Dive into the update and experience the new Valorant landscape!
